New Donor Funded Equipment for Sechelt | shishalh Hospital

We are proud to announce the arrival of our hospital’s new Faxitron imaging system, made possible through generous donor support! This advanced equipment allows our radiology team to perform high-resolution digital imaging of breast surgical specimens directly in the operating room.

By providing immediate imaging results during surgery, surgeons can confirm tissue removal in real time. This improvement means more breast surgeries and complex procedures can now be performed locally, providing better care close to home!
