“Senses Put In Order”

I am in constant awe of the power of nature, which is no doubt why I choose to paint landscapes. Every time I am out on the local hills, or paddling local waters, my eyes are always on the lookout for that next painting.   When I came up over the hill, I looked out towards Big and Little Popham—the two islands in the distance, I knew I had found it. This day would be a reminder of the ability of nature, and friends, to calm, soothe, and heal.  It is days like these I yearn for, to have my ‘senses put in order’.
