‘Gettin’ Equipt’
The Sechelt Hospital redevelopment project was a $44 Million project to expand and enhance Sechelt Hospital to help meet the anticipated needs of the community to 2030. The ‘Gettin’ Equipt’ campaign was a joint initiative of the Sechelt Hospital Foundation and the Sunshine Coast Healthcare Auxiliary to raise $2 million dollars for the purchase of specialized furnishings and clinical equipment for the new hospital tower. The generosity of our many donors helped us reach our fundraising goal a year earlier than planned, and examples of the numerous items purchased with the support of our community include:
- Intensive Care Beds ($48K)
- Articulating Arm for Trauma Emergency ($48K)
- Furnishing a room ($50K)
