The Sechelt Hospital Foundation Staff Education Fund
The Sechelt Hospital Foundation Board of Directors is committed to supporting the continued learning of Health Authority staff at Vancouver Coastal Health sites and facilities on the Lower Sunshine Coast (Egmont to Port Mellon), to help enhance the quality of our local health care and services.
To this end, in April 2014 the Foundation launched a Staff Education Fund, made possible through the generous donations of Sechelt Hospital Foundation donors.
Eligible staff may now get support to: attend seminars, workshops and conferences; upgrade their skills to implement a new program, service or technology; undertake research projects; or expand their career options in healthcare with undergraduate degrees, diplomas, short courses and more.
This is one way the Foundation – thanks to donor support — can help ensure our community continues to receive the best health care possible, right here at home.
