About the Foundation

Because Our Community Hospital Matters.

Sechelt Hospital Foundation is a registered, charitable society with a voluntary board of directors elected from throughout the Sunshine Coast.

Individuals, businesses and service organizations donate to the Foundation, which in turn funds capital and equipment costs and special projects for the Sechelt Hospital. We strive to effectively steward all donations and direct them to where they will do the most good for patients and families.

Thanks to your generosity in helping to build hospital capacity, more Sunshine Coast individuals and families are able to receive complete health care services close to home.

The Foundation does not fund on-going hospital operating costs, nor does it become involved in hospital operation issues.
